Mind Body Wellness is Growing!
Are you a West Virginia licensed therapist who brings a gentle blend of humility and curiosity to your work?
Perhaps you have been described as an outside-of-the-box thinker (ethical, yet willing to question the medical model) who understands and appreciates the connection between mind, body and spirit? You care about your clients and truly want to see them find their wellness in their healing journey. You are equally committed to your own healing journey.
You are passionate about working with adults with a history of trauma from a strengths-based, non-pathologizing approach. You ask “What happened to you?” and then follow-up with “What is the impact of that on you today?” You trust in the wisdom that each individual brings to the therapeutic process. You believe in the power of community. You are dedicated to always learning and growing both professionally and personally.
You are craving a career where you get to show up as your real self and focus on what you love (your clients’ healing journey and your own) without having to worry about running a business, marketing yourself, paying quarterly estimated taxes, existing alone on the private practice island or being a therapy producing machine. You are longing for a career where you can show up as your authentic self, quirks and all. You want to work in a place where the culture values you as a human being first and foremost.
Well, hello! We’re Mind Body Wellness and we’re glad you found us. You might be the perfect fit for our team.
We created Mind Body Wellness as a place of healing and hope for therapists who want the perks of being in private practice (autonomy, low caseload, stellar work/life balance) and the benefits of being part of an agency (income stability, supportive community, an awesome, caring, and collaborative team of like-minded people) without the headaches of owning your own business or having to navigate bureaucratic red tape.
Basically, we’re a haven for talented, smart, passionate people who want to become expert-level trauma therapists without sacrificing their sanity or wellbeing in the process.
